Samarang Field lies approximately 49km North-West of Labuan, offshore Sabah, East Malaysia, on Sub Block 6S-18. It consists of 17 platforms including 3 bridge-linked platforms and 6 unmanned satellite jackets.
Meanwhile, oil and gas export from Kinabalu platform and produced oil from Sumandak platform are commingled at the field for product export.
On HSE aspect, Samarang has always emphasized on safe operation initiatives in addition to instilling HSE generative culture in Samarang workforce.
As such, Samarang has excellent HSE records in recent years, thanks to collective effort from the crews with one objective in mind, “Everyone goes home safely”.
