COMPANY PROFILE

Erb West field is an offshore oil and gas field located in the South China Sea off the coast of Sabah, East Malaysia, about 126 km (80 miles) north-east of Labuan Terminal in water depth of approximately 60 m (205 feet).

Operated by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd., Erb West offshore is under the same field management as Tembungo and Kinarut offshore platform or shortly known as ETK.

ETK consists of 5 platforms including 4 unmanned platforms and 1 bridge-linked platform producing oil and gas.

ETK is exporting its gas to downstream customers through Labuan Gas Terminal (LGAST) & Sabah Gas Terminal (SBGAST) securing gas supply for the state and for other industries.

EWP-A being the Central Processing Platform (CPP) exports its crude oil to Labuan Crude Oil Terminal (LCOT).

Exemplary HSSE culture of ETK proactive efforts is evident through multiple awards such as HSSE Recognition for Malaysia Asset in 2019 and 2020 as well as Field LOPC Reduction Award, 2019 where the tagline “Everyone Goes Home Safely” becomes the number one drive to make ETK a safer workplace.
