PETRONAS Chemicals Ethylene Sdn Bhd (PCESB) and PETRONAS Chemicals Polyethylene Sdn Bhd (PCPSB) were incorporated on 11th July 1991 with a mission to be ‘The Preferred Supplier of Ethylene & Polyethylene Delivering Best in Class Performance’. The company aspires to succeed in this area of business through the strength of its technology and leadership in innovation.
In keeping with the country’s aspiration towards achieving industrialization, PCESB/PCPSB is set out to realize this national objective through developing the dynamics of the petrochemical industry and developing competent workforce. Our aspiration at PCEPE is “Moving Forward Together towards High Performance Organisation”.
PCESB/PCPSB is highly committed to ensure HSE and Sustainability Development (SD) excellence in its premises and also surrounding communities which is their key stakeholders. PCESB/PCPSB took part in several HSE and SD benchmarking exercises as part of its continual improvement effort; and has achieved several recognitions in 2020 & 2019 which include awards from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), Malaysia Society for Occupation Safety and Health (MSOSH) and PETRONAS’ Operational Excellence Forum & Award.
